Easy Fall Craft

I feel like I’m always posting about food!  Probably because I love to bake and I love to eat!!  😉  So this time for something different, I thought I’d share with you a simple fall craft project that I found on the Internet, and did over the weekend.  I went to the local thrift store and got a few glass containers for a buck.  Then picked up some cheap bags of beans/corn at the grocery store, and just layered them in the containers.  How simple is that!?!

I even picked up a candle at the thrift store for .50    You could be really creative with this and use Halloween colors (black and orange), or you could use Candy Corn colors (orange, yellow, and white).   Happy Fall!!!

God answers prayer!!!

Earlier today I was looking for an important piece of paper.  I knew I had put it some place “where I wouldn’t loose it”…… and then I couldn’t remember where i put it (anyone ever do that?)!   I looked all over the house!  Looking high and low for this paper!

I breathed a short prayer, “God, please help me find it”!   The very next room I walked in…….. there it was, right before my eyes!!!    I had been in that room 3 times already looking for it.

I think sometimes God just wants us to rely on Him and acknowledge Him.  He desires to be there for us, and help us throughout our day.   Thank you God for answered prayer, even the small ones!

Phillipians 4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”

Eat Like A Dinosaur!

What can you make with these 3 items (plus a few more)?

Banana, apple, almond butter.

Why waffles of course!!!!

Yesterday I got a recipe book from the library called, “Eat Like A Dinosaur”.  Basically it’s a gluten-free recipe book for kids.  This book has some awesome recipes in it, but the one recipe that caught my eye, and the one that I wanted to try first were these waffles.  They only take a minute to whip up.   Then just scoop some batter into your waffle iron and in a few minutes, presto! –  delicious, crispy waffles!!!   And they were made from bananas, apples, and nut butter!  Who knew?!?   😉
